ParcelGH Launches: Online Booking and Real-Time Tracking for Bus Parcels

ParcelGH officially launched its platform today, allowing customers across Ghana to book parcels online, pay via Mobile Money, and track their shipments in real time. The platform connects multiple transport carriers on a single booking interface — a first for the Ghanaian domestic parcel market.

What ParcelGH does

ParcelGH lets anyone in Ghana book a parcel shipment in under two minutes. You choose your route, enter sender and receiver details, select your carrier, and pay online. You immediately receive a tracking code. From that moment, every status update — confirmed, in transit, arrived, delivered — is recorded and sent to both sender and receiver by SMS.

Carriers get a dedicated portal to manage bookings, scan QR codes at collection, and update parcel status. Walk-in bookings — where a customer comes directly to the terminal — are supported too.

Who it's built for

ParcelGH serves three groups. Individual senders who want to book from home or the office without queuing at a terminal. Businesses and traders who need to send parcels regularly and want invoices and booking history. And transport companies who want to bring their parcel operations online without building their own software.

The pricing model

There are no setup fees or monthly charges for carriers. ParcelGH charges a GHC 12 service fee per booking, paid by the customer. Carriers keep 95% of their transport fee on every booking.
